In Crysis 2 we are going to live the story in a world completely different from what we know. A world devastated by some climatic disasters which made the human race stay in a total chaos.

That was used by some aliens who came back with more power than ever and with only one quest: exterminate the mankind. For that, they will start destroying all the most important cities, between them New York, where, equipped with only one Nanosuit 2 we will avoid the destruction of the humanity.
